History

The Founding of Hutton Lodge No 4640. In response to a petition from the twelve founders, The Grand Master, HRH the Duke of Connaught and Strathearn KG, granted the Warrant on 7th May 1924.

Joseph Walter Vincent was appointed Master with John Niven as Senior Warden and Charles James Warren as Junior Warden. The Lodge was consecrated by the Provincial Grand Master, Col. The Right Hon. Lord Lambourne, PC., C.V.O., LL., on Thursday 4th September 1924.

The first regular meeting was held on Monday 22nd September 1924.
